This Breckenridge Colorado real estate economy stinks and people are taking drastic extremes. Theft has gone up so much lately in Summit County. I'm a real estate agent in Breckenridge. There are so many people trying to get out of here because the Breckenridge homes for sale costs here absolutely ridiculous. It so expensive to live here and the majority of jobs here pay people peanuts. Breckenridge Property taxes, insurances, you have to be a millionaire to live down here it seems, but then again the rest of the country is getting the same way. Its a shame, every day I see more and more people pan handling. I read in my local Colorado mountain real estate paper a few weeks ago that there are more Breckenridge homeless people on the streets right now with children. Summit County Colorado country is so concerned about taking Breckenridge mls care of the rest of the world that there missing all the people that need some help here. People all go through hard times, it just seems that lately its been harder for most people.
