ok first of all i think that brooke needs to grow up... from wat i seen on the video, i dont understand how her mother dating another person or even a younger man, is effecting her. everything has to always be about her and maybe if she was there for her mom when all this mess happened... she wouldnt have to turn to someone else. and if this relationship doesnt work out with this younger man... her mom is a grown woman... she can handle herself. her mom isnt pushing brooke away.. brooke is pushing her mom away.

I think that Brooke has every right to be upset and decide she is not able to speak to her mother! In my opinion if my mother was dating someone younger than me I do not think I could be around her and be comfortable. To be is seems beyond creepy and would make me feel very uncomfortable like my mother was almost a child molestor, and my mother is younger than Linda! If you can date someone who is your childs age, or someone who is your parents age I think that you have some serious emotional damage that needs to be addressed!

I understand that you can find people of all ages attractive, or acknowledge their beauty at least. However, to be sexual with someone who is younger than your child is scary! Just because it is legal does not mean that it is good or healthy! He still is very immature! I am almost 23 and I know I couldn't date someone who is even 30 because I still want to be young! I also think the fact that Brooke respects her mother enough to not see her when she knows that emotionally she could not handle it properly is a great thing. I have never been a fan of this family before, but Brooke clearly is a very grounded and mature young woman!

I agree that Linda needs an older man, however, Brooke has no problem with her fater having a new love interest ( I know she is not 19). But if she can handle her father in a new relationship, she needs to grow up and at least talk to her mother and remember that her mother loves her, because one day her mother may not be here.

I'm sorry but I don't blame Brooke. Linda is being a little selfish. If and when Charlie does dump her for a younger woman and he will, She will need her daughter more than ever.

Linda should be a mother FIRST and before anything, and understand her daughter..she's the MOTHER, The GROWNUP...she should put Charlie aside for a while (maybe for good because he's freaking 19! My GOD!)and try to rebuild the relationship she had with her daughter.

I don't know how it feels to be in an overprivlaged situation like brooke but i do know what it feels like not to have your mom and dad around and life is too short to throw a damn temper tantrum because you're jealous of your Mom's attention going to someone your age. Brooke is living her life, why can't her Mom do the same? brooke isn't there to keep her mom company 24/7 and everyone deserves to be happy. I think she needs to GET OVER IT
